Additionally, it's where actors rent out equipment for Ait Benhaddou filming. Your next stop will be the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a Berber fortification and Touareg trading center that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also well recognized for its movie stills from Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. In the late afternoon, you will pass the Tichka Pass, which is situated in the upper Atlas Mountains.

Following the old caravan route, you proceed down the Draa Valley's palm trees. You pass a number of historic Kasbahs, Tamnougalte being one of the most well-known. You turn onto the paved road at the town of Adgz. Then, after making a halt at Morocco's highest point (2260 meters), you'll go see a cooperative that produces argan oil.
